About this site

APARAAT is an independent online magazine covering media art, new media, tech art, AI art, and related fields across the Baltic and Nordic region. Through long-form research, studio visits, exhibition reviews, and a curated calendar of events, it follows where art and technology meet from Riga to Reykjavík. It's edited by an artist/engineer, who works across Latvian, English, Danish, and Norwegian. APARAAT welcomes pitches, studio tips, and collaboration inquiries from artists, researchers, and institutions across the region.
